The Origin Story
Why SnappyCVs exists
We realized something was broken. The resume format can't keep up with reality anymore. People today—especially in software—ship faster, learn faster, and operate across more domains than a 1–2 page document can honestly represent. Yet we compress our entire professional story into this lossy format, only for it to be filtered, scored, and rejected by machines before a human ever sees it.
The tools out there didn't help. They were either too simplistic (template generators that produced generic documents) or too hands-off (AI agents that would "apply for you" with hallucinated achievements). None of them addressed the fundamental problem: your full professional history is the dataset, but a tailored resume is the pitch. You need both—and they serve different purposes.
We wanted something that understood this distinction. A tool where you could maintain the complete truth of your career in one place, then intelligently generate targeted arguments for specific roles—while keeping you in full control of every word.
